How Habit Tracker Mobile handles information.

Effective July 17, 2026

This notice applies to Habit Tracker Mobile, not to Ventryn's public websites. It describes the current application and backend being prepared for release.

Information the app handles

Firebase Authentication handles your email address, account identifier, verification state, and sign-in provider. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides Firebase Authentication with your email address, display name, profile photo URL, Google account identifier, and verified-email status so the app can authenticate you and identify your account. Habit Tracker Mobile requests no additional Google API scopes. Cloud Firestore stores your account email and display name together with the habits, notes, schedules, completion entries, settings, and related account data you choose to create. Local notification schedules remain on your device.

Google Sign-In data use and sharing

Ventryn uses Google-supplied profile information only to authenticate you, identify and secure your account, support account operations, and fulfill access, export, or deletion requests. Google and Firebase process it to provide authentication. Authorized Ventryn operators may access it only when needed to support your request, investigate security or abuse, or comply with law. Ventryn does not sell it, use it for advertising, credit, or lending, disclose it to data brokers or unrelated third parties, send it to Vertex AI, or use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

Analytics and diagnostics

Firebase Analytics and Performance Monitoring are off by default and are enabled only after you explicitly turn on Product insights in Settings. Habit names, notes, and AI goal text are not sent through Product insights. When enabled in a release build, Analytics records product events such as creating, updating, completing, or uncompleting a habit and automatic screen views. Performance Monitoring processes Firebase installation and session identifiers, general device, app, and network information, country derived from IP address, automatic trace durations, and network URLs without query parameters or payload content together with response codes, payload sizes, and response times. Firebase keeps IP-associated performance events for 30 days and installation-associated and de-identified performance data for 60 days before removal begins. Production builds use Firebase Crashlytics for crash and nonfatal error diagnostics; it processes stack traces, error messages, installation and session identifiers, and device and app metadata, which Firebase keeps for 90 days before removal begins. The app has no advertising SDK and Ventryn does not sell Habit Tracker Mobile account data.

AI habit suggestions

If you request a habit suggestion, the goal text you enter is sent through a protected Cloud Function to Google Vertex AI Gemini. Do not include sensitive information. The service returns a suggested habit and does not need access to the rest of your habit history to create it.

Security, use, and retention

Ventryn uses Firebase Authentication, App Check, least-privilege cloud identities, Firestore Security Rules, encryption in transit and at rest, logging, alerts, point-in-time recovery, and scheduled backups to operate and protect the service. Active data is kept while your account exists or as needed to operate and secure the product. Deleted data expires from recovery systems within the bounded windows described under account deletion.

Your choices

You can enable or disable Product insights, export your active account data, or delete your account from Settings. You can also contact Ventryn for access, privacy, export, or deletion help. Habit Tracker Mobile is not directed to children under 13.
